Other comments: Korbong is a Tibeto-Burman language spokenin Tripura in India. It belongs to the Boro-Garo branch of the Sino-Tibetan Family. It is highly endangered and presently is spoken by 25 persons in one village in three households in West Tripura. Another group of Korbongs numbering 200 in Champaknagar have already shifted to Kokborok as their mother tongue.
